Synergy’s Foundation Announces New Illuminating Injustice Award

ORLANDO, Fla. (May 14, 2014) – The Foundation for Those With Special Needs, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, announced their partnership with Public Justice, America’s public interest law advocacy group on the new Illuminating Injustice Award. The award was designed to help those who have suffered a significant injury but have received only a limited recovery.

The Illuminating Injustice Award recipient will be announced during the Public Justice Annual Gala & Awards Dinner on Sunday, July 27, 2014 in Baltimore, Maryland and awarded a $25,000 check from Synergy’s non- profit, The Foundation for Those with Special Needs, a 501(c)(3) that provides monies to charitable organizations that promote and protect the civil justice system.
The purpose of this new award is to highlight just one of the many clients Public Justice’s supporters have represented who have suffered a catastrophic injury and for certain legal reasons, were unable to get the just compensation they deserved.

“We hope to help raise awareness of these types of unfortunate situations and help injury victims with additional monetary relief. We are honored to partner with Public Justice on this important initiative.” said Foundation Director, President Jason Lazarus.

Synergy Multi Claimant Solutions Company Awarded Fosamax Project

ORLANDO, Fla. (June 2, 2014) – Multi Claimant Solutions (MCS), a joint venture between Synergy Settlement Services (SSS), a national settlement services company and Franco Signor LLC, a Medicare Secondary Payer compliance service provider announced today that it has been appointed by Order of the Honorable John F. Keenan, United States District Court Judge in the Southern District of New York as the Lien Resolution Administrator for the Fosamax Products Liability Litigation.

MCS offers a full spectrum of compliance and resolution services for the mass tort community and will help navigate the complexities involved with the Fosamax settlement with their extensive knowledge and expertise in processing mass tort drug cases. The Pompano Beach office brings the count of Synergy offices in the state of Florida to four including the corporate headquarters in Orlando, FL. “We are excited to have Rudy leading our South Florida business development efforts out of the Pompano Beach office and look forward to Synergy’s continued success in its home state of Florida,” said Jason D. Rodolfo “Rudy” Rodriguez-Chomat, MBA, MSHRM, is the Director of Business Development for Synergy Settlement Services in the South Florida area, including, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Naples and Fort Myers. In this role, Rudy is charged with developing and cultivating new business from personal injury firms throughout South Florida in lien resolution, Medicare set-asides, pooled trusts, attorney fee tax deferrals, government benefit preservation, and structured settlements.

Through his 20-plus years of experience working with law firms, Rudy has established long-time relationships with firms throughout South Florida. He spent 15 years as a paralegal and for the past five years, has provided support to firms in staffing and, HR. Most recently, he worked with the nation’s leader in attorney digital marketing, Thomson Reuters FindLaw where he was a three-time Century Club Award winner and National Consultant of the Month in August 2018. Rudy understands the intricate nature of law firm procedures. A law firm is a business, and his background allows him to show an attorney how working with Synergy is a great business decision.

Rudy was born and raised in Miami Beach. He lived in Miami-Dade County until 2008 when he moved to Broward County and currently resides in Pompano Beach, Florida. He is a graduate of Florida International University with a bachelor’s degree in Print Journalism, an MBA, and a master’s degree in Human Resource Management.
